Diamond Platinumz and Zari Hassan keep proving time and again that they are Africa’s celebrity power couple in all aspects. The top Tanzanian Heart throb has shown severally that he has enough money to spoil himself and his family anytime he feels like it. The couple recently spent millions of cash to hold a grand party for their newly born son Prince Riaz to unveil his face to the world and a few days later the two are flaunting their expensive rides.

Last year, Diamond caused a stir on the net after buying Zari a house in South Africa worth 18million Ksh. The star has also promised to buy his baby mama a Range Rover before the year ends as a gift for giving him a beautiful baby boy. Magufuli criticized for arresting Wema Sepetu and Diamond

Tanzania President John Magufuli has been criticized by one of his officials for arresting celebrities in Tanzania as he intensifies his war on drugs.

Government minister Nape Nnauye said that Magufuli is putting his focus on the wrong people.

“Most of these listed are victims of drug use. They are as sick as other victims of drug abuse; the difference is that they have big names and we all know them,” he said.

Diamond and five other celebrities including Wema Sepetu, Ray C, Vanesa Mdee and Nay Wa Mitego were summoned by the police to be questioned about drug trafficking early this month.

“Nobody should be spared in this war against illicit drugs; no matter how famous or what status that person has in the society,” Magufuli ordered.

Kenya has also intensified its hunt for drug barons especially in the coast region. President Uhuru Kenyatta, just like Magufuli has promised no one will be spared.

“Be it a politician, minister, a police officer, a son or daughter of a big wig, the law should follow its course. “Even if it is my wife dealing in drugs she should face the music… the drugs have effects on the young workforce but are still being sold like groundnuts,” said Magufuli.

Kansiime’s social media accounts are all verified but the fake one isn’t.Because of this,Kansiime had to alert her fans,
“Fake page alert my ninjas. Please do not send any money or help to anyone that poses as Kansiime Anne on Facebook. This yo ninja knows better than to take advantage of her ninjas. Be sharp my ninjas and block such negativity. #sharedblessings indeed.”

Bongo Star Ali Kiba Shines Big At The East Africa TV Awards (Photos)

It's been an year of nothing but success for the Bongo legend who has seen his visibility improve greatly as he continues to not just sore higher and higher but also perform all across the World and win Awards left right and center.

This time, the Aje hit maker didn't have to endure a controversy like the one that saw him deadlocked over an award with Nigerian singer Wizkid. (Ali Kiba went on to win the contentious MTV EMA's Best African Act Award that had been earlier awarded to Wizkid.

Last night, the star shone even brighter as he was awarded with three big wins at the glitzy East Africa TV Awards.

Ali Kiba not only won the Award for the Best Song for Aje, he also won two more Awards for Best Music Video (Aje) and the coveted Best Male Artist.

This is obviously some very bad news to singer Diamond Platnumz who has been locked in a bitter supremacy battle with his much humbler rival.

Others who carried Awards home included the iconic Lady Jay Dee who won as the Best Female Artist (VanessaMdee? What happened?) and Navy Kenzo who obviously won as the Best Group.

The universally-loved Ali Kiba, dressed in a black tuxedo and a black t-shirt, was on hand to receive his Awards flanked by his crew.

Word on the street is that Diamond’s mother Sanura ‘Sandra’ Kasim and Zarinah Hassan do not see eye to eye. With people claiming that Diamond’s mum harbours boundless hate for Diamond’ beau.

According to Amani Newspaper, the two developed bitter hate for each other after Miss Sanura slipped and fell on the escalator in Europe and when Zari reached to help the old lady out, Miss Sanura reportedly rebuffed her.

“I believe Zari and her mother-in-law are not in good terms. Even Diamond’s sister Esma Platnumz does not get along with Zari.” the source intimated to the publication.

The reason for the beef was said to be Zari’s controlling nature which greatly repulsed Diamond’s mum.

Rumours of the beef was further fuelled by Diamond’s mum and sister taking to social media to wish Diamond’s ex Wema Sepetu a ‘Happy Birthday’ in lieu of Zari who only received ‘blue ticks’ from the two. This incident came days after the two were conspicuously missing in action at Zari Hassan's glamorous party in Zanzibar.

An act that caused a flurry of reactions on social media with many interpreting this as Zari has a strained relationship with the in-laws and Wema is their preferred choice.

But the birth of Sanura’s husband (Diamond’s son) seems to have changed all this. In fact the two spent a chilled out afternoon together according to Zari Hassan.

Celebrity couple Cmb Prezzo and Michelle Yola have kidnapped social media with their Soap Opera that is now getting out of hand. Last Week ,Yola who stars in Nairobi Diaries shocked everyone when she came out to claim that she is single and ready to mingle. This came after she realized the rapper was dogging her with another girl. Screenshots of a conversation between Yola and the said girl made it to the public, exposing Prezzo as a cheat.
